Peggy and Charlotte - Bestest of Friends

Our four legged best friends certainly come in all kinds of sizes and this photoshoot was just that. I had met Charlotte at one of the Erewash Rider's Association rides at Elvaston Castle as I was there photographing the Halloween ride which I thoroughly enjoyed. These days I don't do much equine event work. Having been recommended to cover the event, Charlotte had already seen my equine portrait work and mentioned she'd love to have a photoshoot sometime.

As it was fast approaching Christmas, I'd put out a limited offer to my Facebook followers to book a photoshoot with your dog or equine friend. Charlotte got in touch and booked in a photoshoot for her and her pony Peggy. All I knew was that Peggy was a Shetland x. I was very excited to meet her.

At the Yard

On arriving at the yard, I was wowed by the views. The yard is based in Derbyshire Dales and I knew from the little walk round the kind of images I could get. It was just beautiful at pretty much every turn and it was so very quiet.

The photoshoot went so well and it was great to meet the infamous Peggy! Once Charlotte's images were ready, Charlotte went on to ordering a 16" mounted print along with a mini photo album inclusive of a USB which included all the edited images. Here's a little photo slideshow of Peggy and Charlotte's photoshoot. It's so very sweet!

If you'd like to book an equine photoshoot or find out some more information, please do get in touch.
